This will seem like more money because it is spaced out in a larger timeframe. This is paid every on the quarter of the year and is best for those that consign often and have a high volume of items to sell. This is every three months, and four times per year. Some choose to be paid once or twice per year for a nice sum around the Holidays.

This is a check mailed to you once per month. If the items total less than $50, this will be carried over to the next month.

If choosing to be mailed a check, please provide an address. A Designer Closet prefers Paypal. It is safe, free and the money is instantly transferred to you.

This is the preferred method by A Designer Closet. Completely safe and backed by a secure network. To send or receive payments, all you need is an email address and a bank account. A quick verification process is completed (by quick I mean a couple of minutes) and you're in business. A Designer Closet is a verified business member of Paypal.

What Will Sell?

Relevant, clean garments purchased in the last four years. All garments must be in excellent to good condition. No holes, stains or missing buttons. A Designer Closet utilizes a neutral third party researcher (TeraPeak) to gauge up to the minute market selling prices for items identical or near identical to yours. If you have a price in mind for something, please note it next to the item under "Items to Consign."

Fee Schedule

A Designer Closet takes a 25% flat fee to sell your items, regardless of the selling price. This includes the following professional services:

  • Photography, Auction Web Site Design & Hosting
  • Determine and Publish in proper eBay Listing Category
  • Set minimum Auction Bid Price and Minimum Reserve Price with CLIENT
  • Research Item Value and post with accurate description of Item
  • List Item Auction on eBay for seven (7) days or in web based store
  • List Item on the "Current Auctions" page of our web site with link to the CLIENT's Auction
  • Provide a link to CLIENT of eBay Auction to follow the activity of auction
  • Manage all Communication and Customer Service with Bidders, Prospective Bidders and Auction Winner
  • Invoice and Receive Payment, pay eBay Auction Fees and expenses
  • Arrange for Delivery of Item to Auction Winner
  • Disbursement of proceeds (less Commission*) to CLIENT
